Welcome to the Frederick County Sheep Breeders — members from many Maryland counties, plus a few out-of-state members
The Purpose of the Frederick County Sheep Breeders is to:
- Promote sheep, goat and lamb activities in Maryland.
- Improve registered and commercial breeding stock, market lambs and market goats.
- Promote and support the area’s sheep and goat farm flocks.
- Promote the fiber industry and wool industry in Maryland.
- Be a resource for and between members.
- Support young shepherd’s 4-H activities — and their project lambs and project goats.
- Educate the public.
The Frederick County Sheep Breeders is a Maryland-based sheep and goat producers association with members from many counties; plus, a few members from out-of-state (PA, VA and W.VA).
