  • Membership:   Dawn Richardson, Treasurer (Grindstone Ridge Farm), Ellen Nicodemus, Past Treasurer  (Pike's View Farm), Judy Osborn, Secretary (aBUNdance Acres Fiber Farm 
  • Publication of Membership Directory:   Dawn Richardson, Ellen Nicodemus and FCSB Board 
  • Frederick County Ag. Week:   Rose Woodsmall  (Stony Branch Farm) and her spinning group 
  • Farm Tours & Pasture Walks:   Amy Miller (Mellow Meadow Farm); Mary Bare (Cranberry Creek Fibers; and Dawn Richardson (Grindstone Ridge Farm)
  • Maryland Sheep & Wool Festival:   Many members volunteer, many show sheep & show fleeces, some members have vendor booths.
  • Food Concession Stand at the Maryland Sheep & Wool Festival:   Fund raiser. Operated in partnership with Feedbag Catering.  About 22 members involved in helping to operate this food booth - selling american lamb sandwiches: pit pulled lamb, lamb sausage, lamb burgers.
  • Youth Skillathon at MS&WF:   Martha Polkey  (Black Sheep Farm)    
  • Summer Picnic:   Elaine Murray (Harley Farm) and Mary Ann Peterson (Pleasant Grove Farm), plus the host farm for the 2012 picnic. 
  • Frederick County Fair:   Many folks are involved. Barbara Mullen (Little Creek Farm) is the Open Class Sheep Supt. David Fuss (Greenbrier Acres) and Karren Sowell, are 4-H Sheep Supt.  
  • 4-H Fitting and Showing Awards:   Ellen Nicodemus 
  • 4-H Supreme Champ. Bred & Owned Ram and Bred & Owned Ewe Awards:   Ellen Nicodemus
  • Premier Exhibitor Wool Breeds Award - Premier Exhibitor Meat Breeds Award:   Peter Vorac, Bryan & Sherry Harper (Swamp Oak Farm), Shelly Geasler (Catoctin Ridge Farm).
  • Shepherds Lead and Decorated Lamb Event and Awards:   Stephanie Ransom (Lilac Ridge) and Charlotte Dutton (Blue Rock Farm), plus judges for each event.    
  • Annual Dinner:   Peter Vorac, Judy Osborn, Dawn Richarson, and Ellen Nicodemus
  • Shepherd of the Year Award:   Emily Chamelin (Chamelin Shearing Services) and her committee of prior recipients of the Award. 
  • Door Prizes for the Annual Dinner:   Charlotte Dutton  (Blue Rock Farm) 
  • Pete Creamer Memorial Shearing Scholarship:   Ellen Nicodemus and Sylvia Creamer
  • FCSB Yahoo Chat Group:   Robert Smyth (Sweetwater Farm) is the Chat Group Moderator
